Today we went to the Riverside Humane Society and adopted Hannah, a 4 year old female beagle/ dachshund mix. A doxie mix.The description on the site said that she is calm and likes to cuddle on a lap.
Yes, she is, and she does.
We think it will be nice to have some doggy loveness around the house again.

I'm sure that a four year old doggie will be easier to care for than a puppy.

I had a girl in my class a couple of years ago named Hannah. Once or twice I "accidentally" called her "Hannah Banana" and she said that is what her grandma sometimes called her. I will have her brother this year. He has been waiting for me.

Fantastic. A new addition to our family. I can't wait to meet this sweet canine friend. I bet I'll be anthropomorphizing her in no time. As is my custom. Animals are the greatest. Sweet ones, that is.
